BIS Records will release four SACD discs with Eldbjørg Hemsing. The first disc, Eldbjørg Hemsing’s recording debut, will be released early 2018, featuring Dvořák’s Violin Concerto and Suk’s Fantasy for Violin and Orchestra. Eldbjørg is partnered by the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Alan Buribayev. The second disc, released late 2018, will be a coupling of Hjalmar Borgström’s Violin Concerto in G major, op.25, and Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No. 1 with the acclaimed Vienna Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Olari Elts.
